A thoughtful assistant that helps you see patterns, prepare better, and follow through — not a bot that coaches your clients. The coach stays in control.
Every AI feature in BackboneAI points at one person: you. It reads across a client’s coaching record so you can prepare faster, reflect more clearly, notice patterns you might have missed, generate better questions, and synthesize progress over time.
It’s built on Anthropic’s Claude, and personally identifying information is scrubbed before any model call. The AI suggests; you decide what to use.
Prepare for each session in seconds.
Reflect on what happened and why.
Spot patterns across the whole history.
Generate open, grounded questions.
Synthesize progress over time.
Decide what to use — you stay in control.
Before a session, generate a brief in seconds. BackboneAI reads the client’s coaching record and pulls together the things you’d want to skim on the way in.
Each brief is grounded in the client’s actual record — not generic advice — and it’s cached on the appointment, so it’s waiting for you when you open the session.
Grounded in the client’s record · cached on the appointment
After a client completes a tool or scored instrument, BackboneAI returns an instrument-aware debrief — it understands how that tool is scored, what the bands mean, and what’s worth a closer look — plus suggested coaching questions to open the conversation.
Engagement and Meaning scored highest. Positive Emotion came in lowest at 6/10, while Relationships rose since the last take.
For each result, BackboneAI offers three to five open, grounded questions you can take or leave. They’re a starting point for the conversation — never a script.
The questions are drawn from this client’s actual scores, so they land where the work is. Use them as written, reshape them in your own voice, or skip them entirely — the coaching stays yours.
Open any client and you’ll find an Ask AI panel grounded in that client’s own assessments, notes, and goals. Ask for coaching patterns, a set of questions, or a draft session plan, and the answer is rooted in their real history — not the open internet.
Quick-start chips get you moving, and the whole panel is coach-only — your clients never see it and never chat with it.
When a client repeats a tool over time, BackboneAI overlays each take’s radar so the change is visible at a glance — then writes a coach-facing narrative of what actually moved. It’s the coaching-progress artifact you can revisit, reflect on, and bring back into the session.
Across three takes, Career and Health climbed steadily while Fun held flat. The clearest gains line up with the goals you set together in March.
For admins and billers, AI can summarize the practice’s billing position, prioritize the work queue so the most important items rise to the top, and draft client-friendly reminders. Nothing goes out on its own — every draft is there for the coach or biller to review, edit, and send.
Role-aware — available to admin and biller roles.
BackboneAI’s AI is built to assist you and stay inside your practice. It’s coach-facing only, privacy-first, and it never reaches a client without your review.
Identifying details are removed before anything is sent to the model.
Every AI feature is for you. There is no client-facing AI.
Drafts and suggestions wait for your edit and approval before they go anywhere.
Powerful where it helps, contained to your practice where it counts.
Coach-facing briefs, debriefs, grounded questions, and progress you can see — with you in control of every step.
